2018 Pre-Season Honors

Congratulations to the 233 student-athletes nominated by their coaches to the inaugural IHSVCA Players to Watch List.  High school coaches are ask to nominate their phenomenal players to this list.

Nearly 90 coaches from all areas of the state and from every class named their top players.  The breakdown of nominations by class is Class A -21, Class 2A-42, Class 3A-54 and Class 4A-116.

Post Season Honors

Coaches are reminded to nominate their top players for All-District, All-State and All-Star.  The deadline is October 8^th.

Having an athlete on the watch list does not automatically nominate her for postseason honors. The requirements for nominating a student-athlete for All-District, All-State and All-Star are:

• The student-athlete’s high school head coach must be a member in good standing of the IHSVCA. Head coaches have until Monday, October 1 to become a member or renew their membership to ensure compliance.
• Head coaches must be using MaxPreps.com, a free service that aggregates and distributes data on high school sports, to upload team and individual statistics.
• Coaches must nominate their athlete during the nomination window closing on October 8.
